The day of your wedding will be one of the most memorable of your life. All your plans and preparations will come together in a day of high emotion, warmth and fun, to be shared with your friends and families.
My photography style is a modern mix of formal and informal shots. This way I can move unobtrusively among your guests, capturing the high points, the little details and the spontaneous moments.
1. What can your wedding service offer us?
I offer four wedding packages. You decide the one you prefer and which meets your budget. I aim to give you a truly memorable record of your wedding which tells the story of your very special day.
2. Is there a pre-wedding consultation?
Yes, even before you choose me as your wedding photographer, we should meet to discuss your requirements. And you can see and touch a sample of my work.
3. What if I hate having my picture taken? It’s such a big day. Will you distract or worry us?
Don't worry. I'm used to putting people at their ease. Most of the time, you won't even notice I'm there.
4. Can we have some family group shots as well as informal reportage style?
Of course you can. This is your wedding and the choice is yours. This is something which can be discussed and planned at the pre-wedding consultation.
5. Can you have photos taken before the wedding starts?
Yes, you can. Some couples want shots of themselves getting ready. At our pre-wedding consultation we can discuss timings and distances to make sure this is practical.
6. Do you have to order us about on the wedding day?
If you want formal family groups it will be necessary to do a bit of organising. But otherwise I will be as unobtrusive as possible.
7. If we decide to book you, do we have to pay the deposit now?
Yes, you will have to pay a deposit now to secure the date of the booking. And the balance will be due two weeks before the wedding.
8. Do we have to choose which package now?
No. You can pay the deposit now and choose the package nearer the time.
9. How long do we book you for on the day?
I come for 6 hours, which is included in the package price. But if you want me for longer it can be arranged at extra cost.
10. How soon do we get the proofs?
The photo proofs are normally ready and posted to you in two or three weeks. I try to have them ready for your return from honeymoon.
11. Who will choose the photo proofs for the wedding album?
Of course, you do – unless you ask me to do it. Some couples want to be closely involved, others want me to 'take the strain'. I'm happy either way. There will be 500 – 800 images to choose from, and I will ask you to choose a certain number.
12. How long have we got to choose which images to have?
It doesn’t really matter, but the sooner you decide, the sooner you get the finished product.
13. What if we want a mixture of black and white or colour in the album?
With digital photography you can have any print in colour or black and white. And I can also mix the two in one print. For example, you could have a picture of the bouquet in colour on a black and white background. It looks stunning! You can see examples of this on the ‘Peek at Recent Photos’ page.
14. Who chooses the arrangement of the album?
I will ask you to choose a certain number of principle pictures which will be the largest, and a certain number of secondary pictures, depending on the size of your album. The rest is up to me, although I always take your wishes into account. I will arrange the images of your wedding in a chronological sequence which best tell the story of your day.
15. How long will I have to wait for the completed wedding album?
The wedding album will be ready about 8 weeks after you have chosen your favourite images.
16. Can our wedding photos appear on 'Peek at Recent Photos' site?
A limited number of your chosen images will appear on the ‘Peek at Recent Photos’ webpage. Your guests will be able to access these via the internet and re-live the magic of the day.
16. What if we want to order extra photos?
Family and friends can order as many reprints as they like.
17. What if I decide to have a parents’ album after the wedding?
This is not a problem. When couples see the beauty of their own albums they often decide to order extra albums for their parents. It’s a good idea.
18. I’m sure I've got another question. But I can’t remember what it is.
Never mind! You can contact me by email or text message any time and I will reply as soon as possible.
